Objective: Create a new brand for SONY, including new name, logo, tagline, brand standards manual, and collateral material.
Solution: After thorough research and different stages of development, the name I chose for the re-brand is Meruka. Meruka is a combination of two words, Meraki and Imbuka. Meraki is a Greek word for creating something with soul, creativity and love. Imbuka is the last name of one of Sony’s founding fathers of the company.
